About Us
The Delaware Affordable Housing Coalition (DAHC) is the voice of non-profit organizations that provide housing-related services to low-income households.
The DAHC is a group that is brought together by a shared belief that everyone deserves access to safe and decent housing. The unifying purpose of the DAHC is to increase access to safe, affordable housing for Delaware households.

Advocacy
The Delaware Affordable Housing Coalition created and is championing the Affordable Housing Production Act. Click here for more information on this vital legislation. Since its creation in 2007, the Delaware Affordable Housing Coalition has been instrumental in:

passing and promoting the state’s Downtown Development Districts;

directing funding from the JPMorganChase settlement towards housing and community development;

advocating for an increase in funds for the Delaware State Housing Authority’s Housing Development Fund (HDF), State Rental Assistance Program (SRAP), and Strong Neighborhoods Fund (SNF); and
-
supporting legislation.​
Delaware Affordable Housing Coalition is able to:

advance legislation that promotes stable, affordable housing;

advocate for increased public support of the creation or preservation of stable, affordable housing;

provide technical assistance and support for members.
